LevelOne has been the industries’ standard desktop loudness normalizer for years. After years of innovation it is now time for the biggest update to date: Version 2.

LevelOneV2 has been rebuild from the ground up. Of course it still offers fast drag and drop loudness analysis and processing of files and folders, in compliance with the EBU R128 and ATSC A/85 recommendations. But on customer demand we added a few very exciting features. First of all a True Peak Limiting function to enable automatic normalization even for programs that peak too high. We also added ‘hot folders’, normally only found in much more expensive products. Files that are added to these folders will automatically be analyzed or processed, according to the stored hot folder preference. This is a very powerful feature that offers perfect integration of LevelOneV2 in your work flow. The third improvement is that we added FFmpeg compatibility, and therefore many more file formats (like MXF) are now supported.

LevelOneV2 has been developed in cooperation with our loudness software partner BeatRig. Please check out the full feature set and obtain a free demo at the webshop.

All Grimm Audio EBU and ATSC loudness plugins and apps have been updated. We now support Avids AAX format in our LevelView realtime loudness meter plugin and LevelNorm loudness normaliser plugin. We also added a new 'Link' function to LevelView that offers instant update of the program loudness display when remixing parts of the program. LevelNorm and our batch normaliser LevelOne now have Dolby Dialog Intelligence gating on demand of the US market. More news for LevelOne is it can losslessly normalise MP3 files and you can build a Droplet of a preset for an even quicker workflow. The best loudness tools have become even better!

In their March issue, German magazin Studio Magazin dedicates 6 pages to a review of our complete loudness suite: LevelView, LevelNorm and LevelOne. They were particularly charmed by LevelViews’ rainbow meter: "Much more than a single loudness figure, the rainbow meter invites to mix dynamically."

Our first LevelOne customer TVA mastering facilities in Belgium immediately took off in full speed and converted 130.000 surround files only weeks after his purchase. TVA developed proprietary upmix algorithms to offer full surround content as demanded by his customer Umac, a high res online music shop.

To support the sales of our software LevelOne, we decided to open a web shop. You can buy our software in the secure MultiPay environment, used by many large online store companies. Hardware will still only be sold via our dealers. If you prefer the software is also available via our dealers.
